How hard is Nakama to Iu Koto
really?
Everything below was counted from this arrangement, not estimated: the bars, the notes, the stretches and the leaps are the ones printed on the page you get.
| Length | 46 bars · 2 pages |
| Notes in the arrangement | 385 |
| Range | B1 to D6 |
| Tempo on the sheet | ♩ = 65 |
| Widest spread in one hand | 14 semitones |
| Chords | 54 (up to 3 notes at once) |
| Accidentals to read | 13 |
| Leaps of an octave or more | 8 |
Can you play it with small hands?
Yes. No chord asks for more than three notes at once and the left hand moves in single notes for most of the piece, so there is nothing to stretch for.
How long does it take to learn?
Most people have it under the fingers in two or three sittings. It is 46 bars at ♩ = 65, and the left hand pattern repeats, so once you have the first page the second page is mostly the same shapes.
Where is the hard part?
Bar 22 is the thickest moment of the piece and the only place where both hands are busy at once. Bar 27 has the widest jump in the left hand, an octave, and it is worth isolating for a minute.
Is there an easier version?
It is already the gentlest piece in the catalogue along with Omoi. If it still feels like a lot, learn the right hand alone first: the melody on its own is recognisable and sounds finished.
Playing this on the Roblox piano?
